When you first register on eBay, we'll ask you to choose a home country or region. This helps us show you the most relevant items in the correct currency. However, it doesn't limit your options because every registered eBay member can bid, buy, or sell on any eBay site. Also, you can change your home country or region any time after you register.

Note: There are a few countries you can't select because of trading embargos. For more information, see eBay's policy on embargoed goods and prohibited countries.

You can choose a new home country or region at any time by updating your registration information:

Changing your billing currency

If you are a seller and you change your country or region, you'll still be billed by eBay in the currency of the country or region you originally chose. However, you can change your billing currency if you want to.

Note: You can only change your billing currency once every 12 months.

What to do if you're in the military

If you are in the military and you have an APO/FPO address, you can choose APO/FPO as your country when you register. Choose this as your country no matter where in the world you currently live.
